A build-to-suit headquarters
The new Army Test Evaluation Command (ATEC) is a three-story, 142,000-square-foot building designed by WDG Architecture for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Developed in response to the BRAC Act of 2005, the building houses the Army Evaluation Center Command and the Army Test Evaluation Center. The facility is designed to achieve LEED®-Gold certification and includes administrative, testing, training, and meeting spaces as well as a spacious atrium lobby. The building also incorporates several Anti-Terrorism Force Protection measures including sensitive compartmented information facilities designed to comply with DCID requirements.
