Potomac Yard One and Two, designed by Pickard Chilton and DCS Design (Davis Carter Scott) and developed by Crescent Resources, features two 12-story buildings set on an abandoned railroad yard site near Reagan National Airport. The LEED®-Gold buildings feature more than 650,000 square feet of space, with three-quarters leased to the US Environmental Protection Agency. In addition to providing highly efficient mechanical/electrical systems design for the base buildings and the four-story parking garage, Girard Engineering provided engineering for the 425,000-square-foot EPA tenant fit-out, including the entire South Tower and three floors in the North Tower.
