Girard Engineering Projects Earn Regional Awards

Falls Church, VA—Girard Engineering, a Falls Church, Va.-based mechanical/electrical engineering firm, recently played a key role in the design of two Washington, DC, projects that have earned recognition for excellence from Mid-Atlantic Construction magazine’s “Best of 2007” awards. The new underground bus depot at Washington National Cathedral won Project of the Year in the Transit/Parking Garage category, and a new office building at 425 3rd Street won an Award of Merit in the Office category.

Another Girard project, One & Two Potomac Yard, recently earned an Award of Excellence from the Northern Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.
